Elite’s Rizer for 2022 ADI Design Index
Elite’s gradient simulator with steering has been selected in the ADI Design Index 2022 to compete for the Compasso d’Oro design award.
Elite’s grade simulator has been revolutionizing the way we think about indoor cycling with a few innovative functions designed to make a scene in this ever-innovating technological environment.
First, the Rizer’s steering system improves the way you feel a climb when you’re cycling indoors because that’s what you would do if you were climbing outdoors: you’d be steering the bike’s handlebars. Also, it features an impressively sturdy structure that helps you feel safe and secure all the time when you’re blasting those climbs.
Design-wise, we felt as if the Rizer was missing something, but we recovered well with this major integration. We’re glad to announce that the Rizer is among the selected products of the 2022 ADI Design Index, the annual design prize that picks the products to compete for the prestigious Compasso d’Oro Award, which is the world’s most influential design award.
All winning projects and products will be on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan starting on November 14th.
Elite’s Rizer
Rizer is Elite’s front-end grade simulator designed with Adriano Design. This product is made to raise and lower your bike to give you real-time inclines and declines (+20% and -10%).
For more focused and realistic rides, the Elite gradient simulator features the innovative patented steering system which is designed to improve the handlebars’ feel when you’re going uphill, and help you work every muscle as you would do when you’re riding outdoors.
If you connect the Rizer to Zwift you’ll be able to race on courses with enabled steering options made to allow you to choose your avatar’s path and overtake other cyclists in virtual rides and races.
