Wood

The main body is made in closed-pore varnish solid ash wood with a water-based multiple-layer coating that makes it waterproof.

Glass

Legs are made in 12mm tempered glass just like the Ø 50cm, 15 kg flywheel, one of the biggest in the indoor training world.

Aluminium and steel

All the functional elements - levers, seatpost, knobs, pedals, resistance unit housing - and the structural details are made in an aluminium and stainless steel alloy.

Accurate computer-controlled three-axis milling machines carve the solid ash wood of the Fuoripista Bike main frame, then the final refining phase is left to the experience of craftsmen.

— Wood, as a natural material, offers grain and tones that are always slightly different: each piece is unique.

The strength of glass

Glass, worked on thanks to a specific expertise that turns a fragile and delicate material into a structural one, ensure great resistance to shocks and mechanical strains. Each edge is bevelled so it's safer to use.

The accuracy of athletes

Testing Fuoripista Bike is conducted via Elite-managed automated tests that mechanically simulate pedalling at different speed and power levels.
